It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Lloyd Smith (Raleigh, North Carolina), born in Benson, North Carolina, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Lloyd Ray Smith, Sr.; his parents, CJ Smith and Dezzia Moore Smith; and his sisters, Juanita Godwin and Lorene Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Dunn Smith of Raleigh; his grandson Lodie Smith (Jessica White); and his great grandchildren, Scout Smith and Corbin White.
