With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold Smith Atkinson Jr. (Raleigh, North Carolina), born in Franklin, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2024 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold "Big Daddy" (Mary Ellen Atkinson) and Hal; and his uncle Laurie Vaughn Atkinson. He is survived by : his wife Barbara; his daughters, Pam Naglieri (Len) and Susan Tweed (Norman); his grandchildren, Ben Naglieri (Victoria), Andrew Naglieri (Keely), Max Tweed (Vivian) and Kailey Tweed; and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Lucas and Micah Naglieri.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the Bay Leaf Baptist Church (12200 Bayleaf Church Rd, Raleigh, NC 27614). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
