He is survived by: his wife Julie Hairr Medlin; his children, Kimberly Strickland Hall (Steve) and Gregory Dale Strickland; his granddaughter Sydney Adele Creech; his brother Harold Matha "Hal" Medlin, Jr. (Corine); and his pet Bailey.
