It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Murray Wethington (Raleigh, North Carolina), who passed away on December 31, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ben Wethington and Elizabeth Wethington; his daughters, Susan W. Hoye (Jim) and Nancy W. Wells (John); his grandchildren, Michael Hoye (Janssel), Jon Hoye (Joann), Mary Beth Laws (Buddy), Lauren Hines (Josh), Kristen DeCain (Drew) and John Wells, Jr. (Caeley Setta); his great grandchildren, Harlan, Alice, Thomas Laws, Joseph Hoye, Natalie and Parker Hines; his siblings-in-law, Robert Bedford and Shirley Bedford; and his wife Alice. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, the Salvation Army, or Raleigh Rescue Mission.
