He is survived by: his sons, Howard L. Richards, Jr. of Raleigh and Michael Boris Richards (Quintina) of Raleigh; and his brothers, Sherman Richards (Willa Jean) of Oxford and Stanley Richards (Wilma) of Durham.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM at the Lea Funeral Home Chapel (2500 Poole Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
