She was predeceased by: her parents, Sandy Virgil Crissman and Martha Carrie Shore Crissman; her husbands, James Kelso Pendergrass, Sr. and Maurice "Ross" Pittman; her daughter Sherri Pendergrass Baird; and her siblings, Sylvia Allen, Alice Bryan, Urban Crissman, Shore Crissman, Larkin Crissman, Martin Crissman, Becky Wilkie, Gaither Crissman and Finny Crissman.
She is survived by: her son James K. Pendergrass, Jr. (Lisa) of Raleigh; her siblings, Lynn Crissman and Barbara Kinton; and her grandsons, Connor Pendergrass (Elizabeth) and Blake Pendergrass (Hannah Watson).
