He is survived by: his daughter Majesty Thompson; his parents, Carolyn Powell Thompson and Ivan Thompson Sr. (Shelia); his siblings, Katina Powell (Gerald), Dwayne Powell, Tekeela Thompson, Alexandra Moss and Anthony Artis (Nicole); and his grandmothers, Lillie Mae Nicholson and Geraldine M. Thompson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steven L Lyons Funeral Home (1515 New Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Poplar Springs Christian Church (6115 Old Stage Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
