He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Scott Thomas and Elizabeth Thomas; his wife Laura Thomas; his pets, Penny and Lennon; his sister Natalie Nicole Honeycutt (Walt); his nieces, Katherine and Charlotte; and his siblings, Maria Thomas, Chris Lawrence, Joey Reynolds and Madeleine Douthit.

Flowers and condolences can be sent to the church, or in lieu of either donations can be made to the National Park Service or other ocean conservation organizations in honor of Jacob's love of the outdoors and scuba diving.
