He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Cloonan and Minnie Cloonan (Soukup); and his brothers, Thomas Cloonan, Edward Cloonan and William Cloonan.
He is survived by: his siblings, Danny Cloonan and Patricia Cloonan Orr; his wife Carol Cloonan (Lynch); his daughters, Lynn Zabel, Jamie Ross, Kerrie Cloonan and Katie Madariaga; his grandchildren, Jason Jirsa, Lindsey Ross, Ryan Ross, Ashley Jirsa, Rylee Wancho, Bella Madariaga and Weston Madariaga; and his great grandchildren, Addyson Ross, Zayden Ross, Colton Green, Zoey Pace, Braylee Green and Ryckee Green.
