James Colson Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Walter Steele and Ola May Colson Spencer; his stepmother Marzella Steele; and his siblings, Mellie Colson and Carl Steele.

He is survived by: his wife Dr. Lacy Colson; his children, Dr. James H. Colson II (Danette Charles) and Dr. Mellanda Colson Scott (Don); his niece Cynthia Marrow (Barry); his grandchildren, Jaden and Peyton; and his siblings, Mary Carr, Deborah Steele, Chardayle Robinson (Wilburn), Millicent Steele, Hazelene Steele, Maricoma "Peaches" Hughes (James), Manzell Spencer (Hester), Lewis Spencer, Jr. and Sandy Steele (Deborah).
