It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Herbert Lee of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Bryson City, North Carolina, who passed away on July 6, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. For James Herbert is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Lee and Hattie Lee. He is survived by: his wife Jerry Lee; his children, Jeffrey Scott Lee (Susan), Joel Allen Lee (Suzanne), Jerry Burton Lee (Glenda) and Jill Lee Millis (Phil); and his grandchild Jamie Lee Shearer (Mikel). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
