He was predeceased by: his parents, James Attie Tyndall and Lannie Wood Tyndall (Averasboro). He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Tyndall (Kevin Shanahan) of Raleigh, NC; his siblings-in-law, Billy Messer of Coats, NC and Louise Messer Rossman (Tom Osborne) of Raleigh, NC; and his significant other Hilda Messer. He is also survived by three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Lee Funeral Home - Raleigh (831 Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604). A burial will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
