She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Adalynn; her parents, Ralph Lee Stewart, Sr. and Vera Holland Stewart; her former husband Joseph Randy Hodges, Sr.; her sister Faye Stephenson; and her nephew Justin Stewart.
She is survived by: her husband Joe; her sons, Joseph "Randy" Hodges, Jr. (Meredith) of Clayton and Stewart L. Hodges of Garner; her grandsons, Alexander and Mason Hodges; her brothers, Ralph Lee Stewart Jr. (Trish) and D. Reid Stewart; her brothers-in-law, H. Lindsay Hodges (Bonnie) and Horace P. Hodges Jr. (Linda); and her nieces and nephews, Sean Stewart, Denise Bridges, Brian Stewart, Kellie Smith, Will Stephenson, Lance Hodges, H. Paul Hodges III and Meg Peacock. She is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mausoleum Chapel at Raleigh Memorial Park (7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612).
