He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Potter Doucette (Michael) of Lynchburg and Margaret Potter Rader (Robert) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Douglas McDonald (Marianne) of Johnson City, TN, Maggie Garborg (Sean) of Minneapolis, MN, Stiles Rader of Asheville, Rob Rader (Jade) of Raleigh and Colin Doucette of Va; his great grandchildren, Maddie, Jon Michael, Ben, Chris McDonald, Bjorn and Sylvia Garborg; and his nieces and nephews, Betty, Donnie Alphin, Diane and Harold Bunce.
