She is survived by: her son William Luther Penninger (Leah); her grandchild Elli of Leland, NC; her son Michael Penninger (Jaime); her granddaughter Alyssa of Benson, NC; and her sisters, Martha Wilkins of Garner, NC and Frances Hypes of Garner, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
