In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jetta had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Jetta may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles O. Funderburk and Etta Haywood Funderburk; her husband John Graham Spencer; and her sisters, Atha Keaton and Jewell Cargill.
She is survived by: her sons, Graham Spencer Jr. (Beverly) of Raleigh and Dr. Jim Spencer (Sandy) of Kannapolis; and her nephews, Charles and Paul Cargill of Raleigh. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Hayes Barton Baptist Church (1800 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27608).
