It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ann Edwards of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. O. "Jack" Jackson and Irene Edwards Jackson; and her sister Mary Alice Jackson Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Amie Breeden (Bobby) and Alice Hoover (Brian); her grandchildren, Trae, Jake, Anna, Jay, Allie, Bella, Brock and Megan; her nephews, Chip, Jeffrey and Garland Smith; and her pet Stella.
