With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Hoffman Kuwalik of Raleigh, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2026 at the age of 94. In the vast expanse of eternity, Joan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Charles "Charley" and Verna Hoffman; and her husband Leonard Kuwalik. She is survived by: her children, Leonard Jr. (Heather) of The Villages, FL, Karen (Bryan) and John (Matthew) of Raleigh, NC; and her great grandchildren, Katie and Emma. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
