He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennie Kelly Donaldson and Earnest Donaldson; and his siblings, Charles Earnest Donaldson and Frances Bell Donaldson. He is survived by: his wife Janice Parker of Raleigh; his stepgrandson Josh Adams; and his sister-in-law Reta Strecker (Dennis). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
