It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Christopher Cottrell of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Louise; his son Michael; his parents, Scott Cottrell and Betty Cottrell; his brothers, Jeff Cottrell (Patti), Greg Cottrell (Treasure) and Mark Cottrell; his sister-in-law Beth Anna Varson; his nieces and nephews, Rachel Ressler (Mike), David Trail (Maria), Tom, Scott Cottrell, Ben Cottrell (Kara), Memory Camero, Connor and Ally Varson; and his in-laws, Wayne and Mary Speckard. He is also survived by cousins, aunts and uncles.
