It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Kwesi Odoom of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Derrick Dankwa. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Odoom; his children, Vibeke Isabella Frølich, Charles Owusu Odoom, John Kojo Odoom (Verna) and Ellen Odoom Horne; and his grandchildren, Sebastian Frølich, Lily Simpson (Micah), Rhoda Dankwa, Luther Dankwa, Terrence Dankwa, Jacob Kweku Odoom, Jonathan Odoom, Sarafina Odoom, Micah Odoom, Makaila Odoom, Mattia Odoom, Myles Horne and Mason Horne.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
