It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Marquardt Shaver of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 3, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne Shaver; and his parents, James Allen Shaver and Violet Marquardt Shaver of Asheville, NC.. He is survived by: his children, John Allen Shaver and Chryl Shaver Tritt (Jeffrey Allen Tritt); and his grandsons, John Tyler Shaver (Kristy Shaver) of Raleigh, NC. and Jackson Porter Tritt of Raleigh, NC..
