It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Antonio DeMelo of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel DeMelo and Maria DeMelo; and his son Steven DeMelo. He is survived by: his wife Lerena DeMelo; his daughter Debra Rodrigues; and his stepchildren, Linda Santos and Steven Dutra.
