He is survived by: his brother Billy Rackley (Cathy) of Raleigh; his children, Shannon Artis (Kourie) of Clayton, Christie Fox (Mike Baker) of Clayton, Jennifer Newton (Jay) of Buies Creek, Joey Rackley (Michelle) of Clayton and Alyssa Strawbridge (Riley) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Katey, Kyle, Kameren, Tristin, Kayla, Bayleigh, Trip, Cash, Beau and Eli; and his great grandchildren, Everleigh and Reagan.
