We are sad to announce that, on May 27, 2024, at the age of 75, Joy Reed of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Henderson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Joy has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bill; her children, Scott, Keri and Beth; and her granddaughters, Charlotte and Julia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Joy F. Reed Scholarship, continuing Joy's legacy of service and commitment to nursing education.
