Judy left this world on October 30, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Pauline Hall Perry and James Bervin Perry; and her son Jonathan Hall Edwards. She is survived by: her sons, Perry Howard Edwards (Elaina Rae Edwards) and Paul Howard Edwards; her daughter-in-law Julie Dickerson Edwards; her grandchildren, Carolyn Leigh Edwards, Spencer Davis Edwards, Henry Addison Edwards and Morgan Ross Edwards; her sister Bonnie Perry Matthews (Mickey); her sibling's children, Jaime Matthews (Melissa) and Melinda Matthews Bone; and her significant other Ford Mustang.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mitchell's Funeral Home (7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
