She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Melvin Gresham and Lucy Allen Gresham; her husband Bobby Edward Hicks; her in-laws, Edward Oliver Hicks and Martha Hicks Daniel; her siblings, Shirley M. Gresham and Marie G. Meachum; and her daughter Deborah Hicks Justice Place.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Deniece Hicks (Chris Lee) and Edward Lee Hicks; her daughter-in-law Charlotte Edwards Hicks; and her grandchildren, Marrah Austin Justice, Bobby Dixon Justice and Cameron Thomas Hicks.
