She was predeceased by : her parents, Monroe Altman and Lillian Altman of Savannah, GA.. She is survived by : her spouse Milo Tomecek; her daughter Elizabeth Lai; her sons-in-law, Ted Lai (Amber Arnold) of Atlanta, GA and Brandon Arnold (Justin Tomecek) of Jacksonville, NC; and her grandchildren, Lucas Lai, Bailey Arnold, Abigail Arnold and Uriah Arnold.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Renaissance Funeral Home (7615 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615).
