He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his parents, Erastus Weaver and Ina Estelle Aycock Weaver; and his siblings, Thurman Weaver (Shirley), Jack Weaver (Agnes), Ila Hollomon (Leon) and Janice Grey Lassiter (Eugene).
He is survived by: his daughter Renee Weaver Rhodes (David) of Clayton; and his siblings, Wilbert Weaver (Judy) of Louisburg, Jimmy Weaver (Fay) of Four Oaks and Ann Beasley (Lofton) of Four Oaks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mount Moriah Baptist Church (3000 East Garner Road, Raleigh, NC 27610), the American Heart Association, or the American Diabetes Association.
