It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kristen Rush McGowan (Raleigh, North Carolina), who passed away on April 4, 2026, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father T. Michael McLarry; and her grandparents, Connie, Peter Caralis, Margaret, Donald Grider and David Dowell McLarry.
She is survived by: her mother Louise Caralis McLarry; her husband Brad McGowan; her son Michael McGowan; her stepfather Tommy Creech; her brother Jason McLarry; her sister-in-law Courtney McLarry of Atlanta, GA; her brother Ryan McLarry; her sister-in-law Jeannie McLarry of Plano, TX.; and her nieces and nephews, Mac McLarry, Kate McLarry, Theodore McLarry, Ava and Sam McLarry. She is also survived by cousins and her aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, Transitions LifeCare, or The Believe Foundation Raleigh, NC.
