Though Larry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George William "Pop" McCarthy and Mary Ucille Bouknight "Mama Sue" McCarthy. He is survived by: his wife Nancy "Dink" Harrelson McCarthy of Brighton Gardens; his stepson Ben Tippett of Cary; his grandchildren, Morgan and Brandon Tippett of Cary; his sister-in-law Jo Adams (Don) of Cary; his caregivers, Danise and Billy Hobson of Cary; and also Wolfpack.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
