He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Selma and Raymond Burnette. He is survived by: his son Battle Lawrence Burnette Jr. (Karen) of Pikeville; his grandchildren, Karry Burnette Grady (Buddy) of Mt. Olive and Battle Lawrence Burnette III of Fremont; his great grandchild Jameson Grady of Mt. Olive; his siblings, Judson Burnette (Joyce) and Sandra Burnette Johnson; and his caregiver Carolyn Remington. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
