He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie B. Massengill and Katie Barefoot Massengill; and his son-in-law Rev. Jimmy Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Faye McLamb Massengill; his daughters, Kimberly M. Ivey (Jerry) and Beverly Carroll; his grandchildren, Amanda Ivey, Austin Carroll and Morgan Ivey; and his sister Floy Allen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
