He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Buck Howard and Lilla McLeod Howard; and his siblings, Judy Barbour and Johnny Howard. He is survived by: his wife LaRue Williford Howard; his stepdaughter Laura Honeycutt (Michael) of Angier; his sons, Lee Buck Howard, Jr. (Christine-Marie) of Garner, Benny L. Howard, Sr. (Maria) of Siler City, Steve W. Howard (Joni) of Raleigh and Teddy R. Howard (Kim Marie) of Angier; his brother Donnie Ray Howard (Bonnie) of Boiling Springs; his grandchildren, Alishia Gower (Josh), Stephanie Howard, Benny L. Howard, Jr. (Tiffany), Matthew Vincent Howard, Stephen Chance Howard, Dustin W. Howard (Cheryl), Nicholas Lee Howard (Lauren), Jeremy Ray Howard (Brittany) and Morgan Johnson (Hunter); and his stepgrandchildren, Cade Honeycutt (Hannah) and Ally Honeycutt. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; and one step-great-granddaughter.
