He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Hobson; and his brothers, William Hobson (Cecily) and John Hobson. He is survived by: his daughter Wanda; his son-in-law Steve Broome; his grandsons, Joshua Broome and Matthew Broome; and his sister-in-law Julia Hobson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
