She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Vick and Minnie Vick; her siblings, Eldrige, Hinton, Harry, Henry and Helen Vick; her husband Ernest Marine Garrett; her children, Lois Rebecca Garrett Hoover (Don) of Holly Springs, NC, E. W. Garrett (Ernest Wald) of Newnan, GA and Wanda Lynn Garrett Hurst (Darrell) of Georgetown, TX.; her grandsons, Paul Michael Garrett, Jason Aaron Hoover, Timothy Adam Garrett and Matthew Tyler Hurst; and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Kameryn and Sadie Garrett.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 4301 Louisburg Rd., Raleigh, NC 27604, in remembrance of Lois.
