She was predeceased by: her parents, Tessie Kaplan and Abraham Kaplan; her husband Wally; her brother Marty; her sister-in-law Anita Kaplan; and her son-in-law Chuck Webster.

She is survived by: her children, Scott Stein (Jenny), Jody and Mindy Lawton (Craig); her grandchildren, Lindsie Coleman (Tommy), Kacee Pierre Louis (Hov), Jared Stein (Lexie), Brianne Lawton (Allison) and Josh Lawton (Lizzy); and her great grandchildren, Laila, Tyler, Brielle, Pearl, Dahlia and Ivoree. She is also survived by nephew and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of Raleigh in Louise's memory.
