It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Overby Martin (Raleigh, North Carolina), who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Overby and Dora Walton Overby; her husband Roy Elvin Martin; and her siblings, Henry Spence Overby, Audrey Walton Overby Moore and Dixie Pauline Overby Medlin.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Martin (Diane) and Jane Mills (Wally); her grandchildren, Matthew (Kelly) and Rebecca; her great grandchild Amelia Ryan; and her nephew Harrison Moore.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brown Wynne Funeral Home Chapel (1701 E Millbrook Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609).
