She was predeceased by: her father David Smith; and her brother Franklin Smith. She is survived by: her brother Ronald Smith; her husband Edward Hansen of Raleigh, NC; her daughters, Karen Hunsinger (Craig) of Raleigh, Erin Hansen of Raleigh and Shannon Hansen-Gonzalez (Francisco) of Wilson; and her siblings, Leslie Smith (Linda) of Garland, NC, Julia Hansen of Clinton, NC, Richard Smith (Patricia) of Garland, NC, Gaynelle Bryant of Garland, NC and Lynn Smith (Susan).
