She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hughes III and Macon Walters Hughes; her husband James; and her son Mark Stephen McDavid. She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Nolan of Florida and Sherri Schaffroth of Cary, NC; her grandchildren, Sierra McDavid, Kylie Macon Nelson, Ryan Schaffroth, Jamie Nolan, Liam Schaffroth and Holly Nolan; and her great grandchild Hunter Macon Wright.
