It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madeline P. Moyer in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Paine and Mary Lewis Paine; her husband Joe; and her siblings, Elizabeth Good, Mary Lou Matarazzi, Kathryn Sattazahn, Janet McParland, Robert and Joseph Paine.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Moyer (Emil D'Onofrio) of Poughkeepsie, NY, Jeanne Moyer of Raleigh, NC, Tom (Carrin Halffman) of Ashland, OR, Carole Rivenbark (Rick) of Charlotte, NC, Robert of Kittery, ME, JoAnne Moyer (Jesse Price) of Raleigh, NC and Catherine Cates (Kevin) of Frisco, TX; her grandson Nicholas Nerone; her children, Janara Nerone, Col. Jeffery Rivenbark, U. S. Space Force (Jolie), Matthew Rivenbark (Casey) and Kyle Cates; her great grandchildren, Cole and Roreigh Rivenbark; and her sister Nancy Owens. She is also survived by her five sisters and two brothers.
