It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcie Hampton Briley of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Marshall Hampton and Ruth Hampton. She is survived by : her husband Sid Briley; her sons, Stuart Briley (Sharon Bradford), Greg Briley (Mary Briley) and David Briley (Janet Briley); her grandchildren, Kaitlin Holland, Sydney Murphy, Hampton Briley, Luke Briley, Joshua Briley, Madison Briley, Hannah Briley and Jackson Briley; and her great grandchildren, Lucy Holland, James Holland, Jack Holland, Teddy Holland, Clara Murphy and Margot Murphy.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Highland United Methodist Church (1901 Ridge Rd, Raleigh, NC 27607).
