She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jacobs and Florence Jacobs; her husband Robert "Bob" Darling; and her sister Joan Bryant (Roland). She is survived by: her children, Edward Darling (Aimee) of Portsmouth, Virginia and Cheryl McNeil (Patrick) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Meagan Gonyar (Michael) of Charlottesville, Virginia, Alesha Darling of Yorktown, Virginia, Kiara Lassiter (Mark) of Peyton, Colorado and Duncan McNeil of Chesapeake, Virginia; her great grandchild Arthur Gonyar of Charlottesville, Virginia.; and her brother George Jacobs (Mary Lou) of Gloversville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
