She was predeceased by: her parents, Angeline Meloy (Fox) and Vincent Meloy. She is survived by: her children, Frances Wheeler Schmid (Dan) of Nebraska and Thomas Wheeler (Becky Kyker) of Florida; her son-in-law Ronald Hines of North Carolina; her sister Kathleen Meloy Hoth (Marv Dickerson) of North Carolina; her granddaughters, Kathryn Schmid Bowers (Nate) and Suzanne Schmid Faeh (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Noah of Nebraska, Connor of Nebraska, Josephine Faeh of Nebraska, Ethan of Nebraska and Samuel Bowers of Nebraska; her sisters-in-law, Sharon Meloy of Wisconsin, Pat Meloy of Florida and Merrill Jaeger of Florida; her niece Patty Hoth; her husband Kenneth J Wheeler; her daughter Cynthia Wheeler Hines; her siblings, Jean (Don Aberdeen), Eileen (Arthur Retzlaff), Patsy (Jim Quinn), Dennis Meloy and Kenny Meloy; and her brother-in-law Ronald Hoth.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Rafael Church (5801 Falls of Neuse Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609).
