She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Morris and Nellie Avery Morris; her husband Aaron L. Guin; her siblings, Charles, John Morris, Mattie Johnson and Carolyn Morris; and her grandson Aaron A. Guin.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Guin (Terri) of Garner, Larry Guin (Linda) of Fuquay, Ronnie Guin (Donna) of Selma and Betty Hurst (Clyde) of Raleigh. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
