She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Chester Thomas and Flossie Fern Thomas (Jackson); her husband Milton L. Jackson; her sister Betty Lou Osborn; her daughter-in-law Anita Jackson; and her brothers, Dale, Max and Robert Thomas.

She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth W. Jackson and Scott K. Jackson (Brenda Norman) of Raleigh; and her grandchildren, Ashley Wilson (Wayne Sprinkle) of Greensburg, Joshua Jackson (Kimberly Medlin) of Straughn, Daniel Jackson (Emily) of Lewisville and David Jackson (Sara) of St. Johns, FL. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
