He is survived by: his parents, Mary Hillmer and David Herndon; his wife Deb Herndon; his stepmother Linda Herndon; his sister Anna Starcala (Jon); his stepbrother Robert Cunningham (Hannah); and his aunts, Lisa Westbay (Steve) and Nancy Hillmer. He is also survived by niece and three nephews.
