It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Burl Updyke in Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Michael Updyke; and his grandparents, Donald Richardson, Leona Richardson Heart and Burl Updyke. He is survived by: his parents, Merwin Updyke and Lucinda Updyke (Cindy); his daughters, Keilana and Jozlyn Updyke; his sisters, Janelle Updyke Price and Stephanie Wills (Jeffery); his grandmother Shirley Updyke; and his pet Enoch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
