She is survived by: her siblings, Jesse C. Chavis, Ruby Chavis Peace, Lovann C. McDade (Robert), Leowen Evans (Melina), Alberta Harris and Elaine Goodson. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steven L Lyons Funeral Home (1515 New Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (7215 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
