We bid farewell to Maxine Harlow Spivey (Raleigh, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 21, 2025 at the age of 91. Maxine Harlow touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathleen Harlow and Eugene Harlow; and her siblings, Grady Harlow, Eugene Harlow, Robert Harlow and Louise Leskawa.
She is survived by: her son Phillip Shawn Spivey; her grandsons, Marcus and Connor Spivey; her great grandchildren, Daemon, Freya and Ivy; and her friend Bill Sparks. She is also survived by friends and neighbors.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Millbrook United Methodist Church (1712 E Millbrook Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609).
